Life Changing Truths from Evangelicals For Life –

This past weekend in Washington DC, while parts of the country were being snowed in, hearts were burning hot for the Lord, and changing our nation at Evangelicals For Life 2016, an effort from Focus on the Family and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Convention. This was the first ever major pro-life conference for evangelicals, in conjunction with the March for Life. This gathering was built around the premise that “Every life is valuable because every life is made in the image of God.”
Here are some of the powerful, life changing truths that were shared:

We don’t need to be aggressive, we just need to express the truth of God’s Word. -Jim Daly
The more we bring the truth about abortion to light, the more people become pro-life. -Jeanne Mancini

Pick one thing (you can do to move forward the pro-life cause in your church’s community) and do it really well. -Dean Inserra

We need to help our congregations differentiate between the political and ministerial aspects of being pro-life. -Thabiti Anyabwile

It comes back to us, as pastors, to model and teach what it means to share and actually live out a pro-life life. -Nathan Lino

Every service Planned Parenthood claims to provide, the church does. Except abortion. And we do it for free. -Nathan Lino

We are called to our city, just as we are called to our church. -Nathan Lino

Let the Gospel be the offense, not your personality. -Jim Daly

Not everyone is called to adopt, but everyone is called to do something. -Sharen Ford

As Christians, we need care about working toward the end of injustice in all areas of life and the world. -Dan Darling

Looking at the culture and thinking ‘all is lost’ is the wrong premise. -John Stonestreet

The ability to have civil discourse – to disagree well – is absolutely crucial for Christians.

Jesus called his disciples, and us, to engage a broken world with a glorious Gospel. -David Platt

There has never been a human being who was not created by God in God’s image.

Let the church be the first place a woman with an unwanted pregnancy goes. -Garrett Kell
