Leadership Quotes from Spurgeon – Part Two –

April 11, 2016

Charles Spurgeon is known to many as one the greatest preachers that ever lived. He pastored in London, England for decades, preaching thousands of sermons, and writing prolifically about the gospel and the Scriptures.
Here is part two of some of Spurgeon’s powerful quotes on leadership, ministry and spiritual living:

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a fact better attested than any event recorded in any history, whether ancient or modern. -Charles Spurgeon
If there be a man before me who says that the wrath of God is too heavy a punishment for his little sin, I ask him, if the sin be little, why does he not give it up? -Charles Spurgeon
If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for. -Charles Spurgeon
You say, ‘If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied.’ You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled. -Charles Spurgeon
Visit many good books, but live in the Bible. -Charles Spurgeon
Nobody ever outgrows Scripture; the book widens and deepens with our years. -Charles Spurgeon
We are not responsible to God for the soul that are saved, but we are responsible for the Gospel that is preached, and for the way in which we preach it. -Charles Spurgeon
